“Sinhgad Technical Education Society” (STES) was established in year 1993 under the dynamic leadership of Prof. M.N. Navale, Founder President, with an objective of  providing quality education in the fields of Medical (General & Dental), Nursing, Engineering, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Science, Arts, Commerce, etc. and the basic school education from Kindergarten to higher secondary. There are more than 100 institutes under the aegis of STES offering school education, Diploma, Graduation, Post-Graduation and Ph. D. programs in various fields enlisted above.The STES has hand-picked eminent personalities from the fields of Education and Industry as members of the Management Committee, who are committed to provide necessary guidance and advice both on academic and professional fronts from time to time. To serve the interest of the student community as well as the corporate industrial sectors, STES maintains a close liaison with the industry and other leading organizations.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENTS

The Departments of Electronics & Telecommunication & Mechanical Engineeringwere established in Year 2008. It has state-of-the-art of laboratories and highly experienced faculties. The Departments are having licensed copy soft-wares like Lab VABVIEW, MATLAB, XILINIX, MULTISIM, MASTER CAM, CATIA, ANSYS, SOLID WORKS & many more. The Departments are having excellent placement record. The results of the departments are also remarkable from the year of establishment. Both Departments are running PG course in VLSI & Embedded System & Machine Design respectively.

 

AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE

Mechatronics isa Multidisciplinary field of Engineering that includes amalgamation of Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Control Engineering,Optical Engineering, andComputer Engineering (software & hardware engineering). Mechatronics aim is a design process that coalesces these subfields. Originally, Mechatronics just included the combination of mechanics and electronics, hence the word is a combination of mechanics and electronics; however, as technical systems have become more and more multifaceted the word has been broadened to include more technical expanses.The application area of Mechatronics includes Machine vision, Automation and robotics, Servo-mechanics, Sensing and control systemsAutomotive Engineering, Computer-machine controls, Expert systems, Medical mechatronics, medical imaging systems, Structural dynamic systems, Transportation and vehicular systems& so on.

 

The objective of the National Conference is to provide a platform to the researchers from the field of Electronics, E&TC, Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Computer, Information Technology, Civil & related areas to present their papers, innovative ideas at the common platform.
